The Damned – Machine Gun Etiquette Album – Miss-pressed Sleeve – U.K. 1979, Chiswick Records – CWK 3011

Machine Gun Etiquette. 1979, UK Miss-pressed Sleeve.

This rarity, like you Numbnuts, is a bit of an odd one.

They’ve exchanged hands for a good few quid at times.

Essentially the “spine print” ended up on the front of the sleeve.

I think the guy in the printing firm had been stuffing a bit too much of the Mexican marching powder up his nasal passage the night before.

Anyway you can take a look at the pics below, and if like me you like to collect these oddities then drop me a line with a sensible offer.

See below for the “Condition” and Matrix / Runout details.

A1 – Love Song
A2 – Machine Gun Etiquette
A3 – I Just Can’t Be Happy Today
A4 – Melody Lee
A5 – Antipope

A6 – These Hands
B1 – Plan 9 Channel 7
B2 – Noise Noise Noise
B3 – Looking At You
B4 – Liar
B5 – Smash It Up (Part 1)
B6 – Smash It Up

Vinyl looks almost mint.
