The Damned – DDD- Ireland 1977, Stiff Records – SEEZ 1

Damned Damned Damned IRELAND 1977.

Listen up Numbnuts, take a good look at this because its the only time you will ever see one (unless that is you know the guy with the other known copy).

See below images for more specifics…

Damned Damned Damned Irish 1977 Distinguishing Features.

This has three distinguishing features that make it quite different to all other U.K. copies of DDD.

1. “TB” Etched in the run out. Most importantly the run out on this bears the initials “TB” in the run out.

The same initials as the ones etched into the Legendary Irish Neat Neat Neat.

These “initials” of TB are exactly the same as the initials on the NNN!

In other words the same engineer who plated the NNN also did this baby.

I have it on good grounds that this means it was pressed in Dublin.

Irish Metal Engineer – TB Etched in Matrix

TB is known to have worked as a Irish Metal Engineer at Carlton productions Dublin.

He is known to have plated many punk recordings including teenage kicks, Neat Neat Neat and many more including pressings for Stiff Little Fingers.

2. The distinct “Palm Tree” logo on the label also makes this unique.

It is the same “Palm Tree” that appears on the 1977 Irish Neat Neat Neat.

3. The label is not “dinked” like the UK Pressings were. The U.K. Pressings all have a “ten pence piece” sized dink in the centre around the spindle hole. This DOES NOT have a dink.
